I started working on the Culture Is Digital Report for DCMS in January 2017. I led a workstream working into Culture Minister Matt Hancock M.P . The project reviewed the digital capability of the UK Cultural Sector  & resulted in a narrative and policy recommendations aimed at unleashing the creative potential of technology in order to boost the capability of cultural organisations.

The consultation was conducted online  and I produced a showreel to share examples of best practice across the sector.

As the project progressed we engaged Ministers around the value of immersive technologies to the cultural sector. I took John Glen M.P to the Digital Catapult where he experienced a variety of immersive projects. He later blogged about this when helping to launch the Creative XR programme, a £1million committment to immersive prototypes across the UK cultural sector

The #CultureIsDigital report was published in March 2018 with a number of recommendations around how we can make the UK a world leader in Digital Culture. Stakeholders including; Arts Council England, The Heritage Lottery Fund, The British Library, The National Theatre & The National Trust.  are now delivering those recommendations.
